Feng Shui, the ancient Chinese art of placement, has been practiced for centuries. It is relatively recently that this art and science has found its way to the western world. Literally translated feng shui means wind and water, essential components of all our lives. It involves looking at the flow of ch'i. In other words looking at a space from the perspective of energy flow. In very simple terms when ch'i flows easily, a space is balanced and harmonious. In turn the people in that environment feel better. All of us have been in places where we feel very comfortable and reluctant to leave and others where we are distinctly uncomfortable. This often has to do with the flow of ch'i and the resulting balance or imbalance. Analyzing and adjusting the spaces where you spend time can create an environment in which you are better able to reach your full potential.
     
Consultations

To ensure that each consultation is individual, the consultation begins by talking with the client to discern where they are in life, what areas are going well, where they would like to make changes or go in new directions.

The consultation continues by looking at the outside of your home or office; the shape of the building, its position on the lot, the property itself and its situation with regard to neighbors and the street. Then the interior is analyzed overall and room by room from a feng shui perspective. Major and minor adjustments are given to the client to enhance the flow of ch'i and balance the environment.
